Over the past few years, when it comes to getting sick, most of our attention has surrounded COVID-19. But this year we've seen another disease on the rise, with experts warning Sydneysiders about a rise in Meningococcal cases.
Our state has seen a massive 63% increase in the first six months of 2023 from Meningococcal, with one Sydneysider losing her life after contracting the disease.
Today on This Arvo in Sydney, we speak with Professor Robert Booy to find out more about the disease, and what you can do to avoid it.
